Search for anything about Indore and you’ll find lists written years ago by people who have never been here — outdated timings, prices from another era, photos scraped from other people’s reviews. The city deserves better than that.
IndoreBuzz is a one-person local media project with a simple bet: being the only source on the page that actually went there, paid the bill, and will say when something is not worth the money. Every Sunday is a field day — three or four places in one area, shot and noted for both the website and Instagram. What you read here is what we saw, dated.
The five rules
Written down so you can hold us to them
Every place is visited in person
Before anything gets a page, we've stood in the queue, paid at the counter, and sat where you'll sit. No press-kit reviews, no writing from Google Maps, no exceptions.
Every photo is ours
If a photo slot shows a patterned placeholder, it's because our shot from the field day hasn't landed yet — you will never see stock imagery or someone else's photo passed off as the real thing.
Every price and timing carries a date
The '✓ verified' stamp on each page is the date we last checked those details on site. Top pages get re-verified every quarter; if you spot a change first, tell us and we'll go back.
Rankings are never for sale
No venue can buy a position on any list, ever. Sponsored content exists — it pays for the petrol — but it sits in clearly-labelled slots, visually distinct from editorial, with sponsored links marked as such.
We tell you what's not worth it
Criticism here is factual and first-hand: what we ordered, what it cost, what went wrong. '₹380 for a pizza undercooked in the centre' — dated, specific, and something we'll stand behind.
